Use of Funds

We respect the right of our donors to know how their money is being spent to further the SC&RF (Specialized Carriers & Rigging Foundation) mission. We are proud to report that the SC&RF undergoes an annual audit and is overseen by Board of Directors comprised of industry professionals and their spouses. Board & Committee meetings are open to all SC&RA members.

Allocation of Expenses

The SC&RF allocates expenses to two primary program areas – workforce development and industry research which directly support and uphold our mission. Workforce comprises nearly 70% of program expenses and is divided into three areas (scholarships, Lift& Move support, and education or curriculum development) and allocations vary per year based on growth expectations for area. Research studies and project expense comprise the remaining 30% and are often produced as the result of a specific need from the SC&RA governing committees and members. This percentage and allocation may vary slightly from year to year based on objectives and growth opportunity.

How We Fund our Mission

Funding for scholarships, education and research comes from individual donors and from companies believe and support our mission. As a 501c3 organization these contributions are tax deductible.
