(January 12, 2017)– Introduced in 1986, the SC&R Foundation’s scholarship and grant programs have awarded more than $450,000 to ambitious individuals who are a part of, or seeking to join, the crane and rigging and specialized transportation industry.
Scholarships are given to students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a related industry field, and may be up to $3,000 each. The deadline for scholarships is January 17.
Grants range from $500 to $5,000, and are available for those seeking to enroll in a continuing education course or attend vocational/technical college while pursuing a career in the crane, rigging, or specialized transportation industry. Grants are available every other month, and the next deadline is February 28.
