Workforce Ambassador Program
The purpose of the Workforce Ambassador program is to grow industry awareness at the local and state level. Companies who commit to be a Workforce Ambassador program are dedicated to raising industry awareness through local community engagement such as field trips, classroom visits, career days and more. This program was launched in April 2023 with a goal of 150 members by 2026.
The SC&RF works to raise industry awareness at the National level and participates in the national SkillsUSA conference, the Future Farmers of American (FFA) national conference and other nation-wide alliances to help inform at these levels.

FAQ’s
If your company has multiple branches should your company sign up under the main HQ or does each Branch sign up?
This is your decision. If you have someone at HQ that will coordinate all efforts and report to Lift & Move your activities you may sign up only your company HQ. If you would like to let the branches take responsibilities for their outreach – they may sign up and report to the Lift & Move on branch activities.
Can we still join if our company is NOT currently active in the community?
Yes! Please join and participate in webinars and take advantage of the networking available to learn from other companies who are active in their community.e

How To Host a Small-Scale Lift & Move Event
Hosting a large 300-500-person careers awareness event like Lift & Move is not realistic for many companies whether it be time, financial constraints or space availability. However, incorporating basic elements of the Lift & Move events into a field trip at your facility is achievable for any company of any size.
Kate Landry, Owner, Deep South Crane & Rigging, will discuss the benefits of the small-scale Lift & Move Field trip and share tips they’ve amassed after hosting several Field trips. She will share timelines, schedules, sample scripts, and important reminders for safety when hosting a group of students.
This is a one-hour meet-up that includes a presentation, Q&A, and roundtable discussion.
