The Specialized Carriers & Rigging Foundation announces its upcoming webinar, Making Waves for Workforce: Resources and Tips for Participating in the 40 Schools for 40 Years Challenge, March 17, 2 pm. This interactive webinar will introduce workforce resources released in 2025 and the “40 Schools for 40 Years” Workforce Challenge, a centerpiece initiative from the SC&RF which is celebrating its 40th anniversary. This challenge is designed to expand industry outreach by connecting member companies with local schools through classroom visits, field trips, and career presentations. During this session, SC&RF Workforce Committee members will outline the “40 Schools Challenge”, explain how to participate, and walk through the ready-to-use outreach kit that includes presentation templates, videos, and student handouts. You’ll also learn how to leverage key resources like the postcards, teacher flyer, Classroom Presentation Handbook and the Lift & Move Small Scale Event Handbook to inspire the next generation of talent in the crane, rigging, and specialized transportation industry.
