{"id":2770,"date":"2020-08-09T14:51:38","date_gmt":"2020-08-09T18:51:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/scr-foundation.org\/oldsite\/?page_id=2770"},"modified":"2024-05-14T14:17:53","modified_gmt":"2024-05-14T18:17:53","slug":"scholarship-committee","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/scr-foundation.org\/oldsite\/scholarship-committee\/","title":{"rendered":"Educational Assistance Committee"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2>\n\t\tEducational Assistance Committee\n\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>The Educational Assistance Committee is charged to develop a scholarship program for both collegiate and vocational\/technical financial assistance that is valuable and useful to the industry and member companies.<\/p>\n<p>The committee is responsible for establishing a mechanism for soliciting, qualifying, selecting and awarding scholarships to qualified candidates. Additionally, the committee oversees the Partners in Education program with training companies to offer more than $150,000 in free tuition for training to applicants through the scholarship application process. There are two Selection Subcommittees, which determines the winners.
