The strategic plan identifies the Foundation\u2019s core interests, key strategies and objectives, and when appropriate, directs the approach to evaluating the effectiveness of its work. The Foundation generally undertakes a review and update of its strategic plan every four to six years. The last strategic plan was completed in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>That plan resulted in changes to the Foundation\u2019s approach and philanthropic model. The SC&amp;R Foundation\u2019s new mission statement is:&nbsp;<strong><em>The SC&amp;R Foundation, a nonprofit organization serving the crane, rigging and specialized transport industry, supports workforce development, provides educational assistance and conducts research to advance growth and opportunities within the industry.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t<h3>The 2019 \u2013 2023 Strategic Plan outlines the following objectives:<\/h3>\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<ul>\n<li>Expand Foundation\u2019s role as a workforce development advocate through Lift &amp; Move, Educational giving and awareness activities, and retention best practices<\/li>\n<li>Produce advocacy driven research to benefit the Association and members<\/li>\n<li>Build and reinforce strategic alliances with like organizations to promote workforce development<\/li>\n<li>Develop strategic communications and branding campaigns to increase awareness of the organization throughout the industry<\/li>\n<li>Stabilize funding for grants and scholarships<\/li>\n<li>Analyze, reorganize and restructure committees and bylaws to meet five-year objectives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2019 &#8211; 2023 Strategic Plan The SC&amp;R Foundation\u2019s activities are guided by a strategic plan.
