Using TikTok to Highlight the Crane, Rigging and Heavy Haul Industry

TikTok is the sixth most-used social platform behind Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp, Instagram and WeChat. With more than 656 million downloads in 2021 - it's earned a spot as the most downloaded app of 2021 - and is generally seen as a fun and entertaining app by students and teens.

"All my friends and I love watching Tik Tok" Eliot, an elementary school student, reports. "It is the best app for watching funny videos and making awesome music videos to the best music!" Eliot adds, "More adults should use Tik Tok because it's hilarious!" Interestingly, 34% of adults hold unfavorable opinions of the app, according to recent statistics released by Hootsuite.

That said, those between the ages of 18 and 34 are using eight platforms every month, and TikTok users are no different, with 99.9% reporting that they also use other platforms.

While the platform is known for content that appeals to younger viewers, did you know there are also videos about cranes, ironworkers and drivers on TikTok? Some of these TikTok videos show the view from the cab of a tower crane, aerial shots of workers and more.
