Scholarship Deadline January 16; Encourage Employees to Apply Now

(December 6, 2017)– The SC&R Foundation Scholarship deadline is over a month away, but now is the time to begin the application. Eligibility requirements restrict applicants to SC&RA member employees, their children, grandchildren or spouses. The Scholarships are not available to the public. This is another added benefit of SC&RA membership. Scholarships are granted to students pursuing a 4-year degree or masters, and who show a genuine interest in a career in the industry.  Award amounts are typically $3,000. In 2018, the SC&R Foundation will recognize the following continuing education scholarships: Taylor (Bennett International), IUOE, Terex, NBIS, and White Brothers Trucking. Additionally, the following Memorial Scholarships will be named: Christopher Lorenz and George Bragg.
