One Trillian Dollar Infrastructure Bill to Create Jobs
American Cranes & Transport Magazine addressed 9 key areas of President Biden's bill which is promising to transform the nation's crumbling transportation infrastructure. The plan includes roads, bridges, rail, aviation, ports, and waterways. The end result will be the ability to move goods faster, cheaper and cleaner.
The "Rail Revolution" aims to reduce pollution and connect workers to union jobs, cut commute times, and connect communities to major metro areas.
Upgrading public transport options with quality public transportation is another goal of the bill in addition to infrastructure for pedestrians, cyclists, and e-scooter riders.
The bill also invests in EV (electric vehicle) chargers, safe clean drinking water in all communities, protection of watersheds, and universal, reliable, affordable internet. Additionally, thousands of miles of new, resilient transmission lines will be built to facilitate renewable energy.
Old power plants, industrial facilities, and landfills are scheduled to be transformed into economic hubs.
Every sector of the construction industry will be impacted by this bill - from laborers to managers and unions. Consider the planning, skills, and certifications that go into these new jobs now.
